Hey, I'm Lyndsey and I am originally from in Houston, Texas and relocated to Costa Rica in 2019. I am certified to teach, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Vin-Yin Yoga, and Meditation. In 2019, there was a strong need in the community for yoga and so CRYC was born.
In addition to yoga, all things fitness has been a lifelong passion. Beginning with 12 years of ballet, competitive swimming for 13 years, 6 years of softball, 24 years of skiing & snow boarding, practicing & coaching olympic weightlifting & Crossfit since 8 years, and 20 years of yoga practice... Since I moved to Costa Rica, surfing is my latest full-time passion!
A little more about about me. I sold real estate in Breckenridge and Vail Colorado for 6 years and worked or 16 years as a hairstylist in New York and Houston, Texas.
My goal is to build a stronger and healthier community, inspired and motivate everyone I meet, offer the largest variety of classes/class times, and have the best assortment of teachers, where our clients receive a fresh perspective to support every part of their yoga and fitness journey.

I can't wait to meet you!
Yoga Instructor - Power Yoga Enthusiast
I'm Stephanie and Costa Rica has been my home since 2016, along with my husband, and incredible 3 kids.
Yoga has been in my life for over 10 years and I specialize in leading Power Yoga classes. I love showing people how to free themselves and teaching people how to move their bodies with their breath. The satisfaction of how a delicious Power Vinyasa can make you feel is something almost indescribable that you will have to see for yourself.

In my classes, we I will show you how to focus on matching every move with the breath in order to create heat. Join me for my next class and you'll experience great music, positive encouragement to never stop moving (unless you really need to)...

Something else about me is me and my husband own Gracia located at the top of the hill in Marvista. We now have 3 local-successful restaurants, my whole family loves to do dance parties and tiktoks, and are full of life and positive vibes. I can't wait to meet you!

Something you may not know about me is I love history, literature, and I am a musician. I sing and play the guitar, which I am proud to say has taken me to over 20 countries.. I look forward to meeting and sharing my lifelong passion of martial arts and its benefits with you..
Mobility and Strength Specialist
Hi, I’m Sean David!
I began studying movement and nutrition in January 2001 after suffering serious injuries as a semi-professional athlete and not finding adequate help from physical therapists. Soon after, I began working with clients as a Personal Trainer when people saw the results I achieved.
Since then, I've earned several specialty certifications in fitness and Corrective Exercise, including Dragon Door Kettlebell Instructor and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. I believe kettlebell training is the best movement system because it can make pain and injuries disappear when done correctly.
I’ve worked for and trained with Equinox Fitness Club in Brickell, Miami, FL, known as the Gold Standard in personal fitness instruction. Now in Costa Rica for six years, I look forward to sharing my knowledge with like-minded friends who prioritize health over possessions.
My goal is to offer expertise at a fraction of the cost, helping those who might not be able to afford this level of training elsewhere. We’re in Costa Rica—let’s live our best lives, move flawlessly, and stay pain-free!
Yoga & Pilates Instructor - Breath-work Specialist
Hi, I'm Isabella! I'm originally from Poland and decided to relocate to Costa Rica at the beginning of 2021 with my loving and supportive husband and my incredible son.
I've been a fitness instructor since 2000 and I give everything I have (mind, body and spirit) to everyone who attends my classes. I work a lot with energy and be assured you will feel this in my classes. I believe in the power of the breath and teach people how to feel comfortable and strong in their bodies.
I love giving back to the community, which is why fitness has been a lifelong journey for me and I can't imagine doing anything else! Since moving to Costa Rica, I had a calling to start teaching yoga and incorporating everything yoga into my live. When I first started teaching at CRYC I was new to the community and being a part of a team has allowed me to fulfill my passion to teach yoga, pilates, & fitness classes, as well as inspire and connect with everyone in them. It is my biggest joy is to see my students open doors they never knew existed and to reach their personal goals. I look forward to welcoming you into of my class and I cannot wait to exceed your expectations.
Yoga & Free Dive Instructor
Hey I'm Dara! Born and raised in New Jersey, I studied and worked in film and television in NYC for 10 years before moving down to Costa Rica in early 2021 to seek a more authentic, connected life.
I have been practicing yoga for nearly 10 years, and in 2022 I traveled to Rishikesh, India to study and learn to teach traditional Himalayan Kundalini yoga and Hatha yoga.
While most styles of yoga are focused on the physical body, Kundalini yoga focuses on the energetic body. Kundalini classes are very different from any other style of yoga you've encountered before. Through both my kundalini and hatha classes, I aim to create a fun but challenging atmosphere that guide my students to connect deeper to their bodies and breath, release stories and tensions that no longer serve them, and bring some joy and movement to their day.
Besides teaching yoga, I'm also a Freediving and Scuba Diving instructor. In my spare time, I love gardening, baking, reading, and aimlessly exploring this beautiful place we call home.
Yoga Instructor - Master Certified Palates Instructor
Hi, I'm Shelly! I moved to Costa Rica late 2021 from Chareslton SC, with my husband and 2 dogs. Back home I taught and ran my own yoga and pilates studio for nearly 10 years.
After a high demanding career in medical device sales, working with ortho and neuron surgeons, I took a different path to study and explore the body’s ability to heal in a different way. Practicing mindful movement through yoga and meditation, earning my 300 hour YTT certification and opened/co-owned a beautiful yoga studio in downtown Charleston.
The best part of my week is to be in the front of a class room leading yoga. I am eager to share everything I know about yoga and pilates. I am a curios seeker of ways to deepen my practice and teachings, so I became Master Certified in Pilates through Balanced Body.
My classes strike a balance between growth and acceptance through breath, movement, alignment and flow. I hope you feel strong and balanced, flexible and free in both mind and body from your time on the mat.

My most recent passion is surfing and I dedicate all the free time I have to taking lessons and spending as much time in the water as I can. I also have the most adorable new scruffy-little puppy Sophie and can't get enough of her, just ask.
Bikram Yoga Instructor
Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m originally from near Chicago but moved to Costa Rica after spending 13 years in London, England. I have a husband who sails a lot at the Sailing Centre and we have one beautiful daughter. I have been practicing some form of yoga or Pilates since 2006, and received a certification in Pilates in 2008. However it wasn’t until 2021 that I left my global markets banking job and we moved to Costa Rica, where I had planned to do a yoga teacher training.
Then I fell in love with Bikram yoga, which is a specific set of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, done in a 104 degree F room with 40% humidity over 90 minutes. It focuses on strengthening the muscles around the spine and restoring natural range of motion to all joints. As I began to practice daily, my intermittent back pain from my desk job disappeared, and other health benefits started to show! I decided to train as a teacher so I could share these benefits with you! Here at CRYC we don’t have the typical closed hot room that most Bikram yoga studios use, but we do have a tropical climate that works every time. Bikram yoga has the fantastic ability to both strengthen and improve flexibility at the same time. It is a beginner class, literally created for every body. I’m so excited to share this powerful yoga with my community!

"Yoga is not about being good at something, it's about being good to yourself."
